Across our Black Country CAMHS Services, we have Clinical Care Pathways. These have been developed to ensure the right staffing, training, and resource is offered to specific clinical presentations. Clinical Treatment Pathways enable our services to provide a standard way of working.

Emotional and Behavioural -
The Emotional and Behavioural Clinical Care Pathways are embedded into the core CAMHS offer.
CAMHS services operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm from bases at Sandwell (48 Lodge Road), and Wolverhampton (The Gem Centre).
S.T.E.P.P -
The S.T.E.P.P Clinical Care Pathways are embedded into the core CAMHS offer.

Neurodevelopmental -
The Neurodevelopmental Clinical Care Pathways are embedded into the core CAMHS offer.
CAMHS services operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm from bases at Sandwell (48 Lodge Road), and Wolverhampton (The Gem Centre).
Learning Disabilities -
The Learning Disability Clinical Care Pathway is embedded into the core CAMHS offer.
CAMHS services operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm from bases at Sandwell (48 Lodge Road), and Wolverhampton (The Gem Centre).
The core CAMHS service offer is adapted to meet the needs of children and young people with Learning Disabilities and neurological difficulties.
Groups are offered by Sandwell and Wolverhampton CAMHS Learning Disabilities Teams, such as Positive Behaviour Group and the Sleep Clinic.
Sandwell and Wolverhampton CAMHS Learning Disabilities Teams work with other teams, such as the IST (Intensive Support Team) and Dynamic Support Register.

Clinical Care Pathway Support
Staff within each Clinical Care Pathway are supported by the Pathway Lead and Service Manager.
There will be specific training courses and developmental opportunities staff need to access according to the speciality within their Clinical Care Pathway. Training needs can be discussed with Clinical Care Pathway Leads and Managers.
Examples of specific training and developmental opportunities are PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) Training for staff working within the Learning Disabilities Clinical Care Pathway.
Each clinical member of staff receives clinical supervision from their Manager/Supervisor. You can read more about clinical supervision on our CAMHS Managerial page.
